yin yoga is a slow & calming practice, which targets the deep connective tissues and joints in the body. yin postures are held for longer periods, between 3-5 minutes, to encourage release and restoration on a deeper level. through this quiet & cooling practice, we cultivate patience and stillness in both the mind and body. yin is practiced with the assistance of props, like blocks, bolsters, & straps, to help ease or deepen the stretch. suitable for all.
