i started practicing yoga by accident in 2012 when looking to understand how movement and posture influenced vocal freedom (he is also a vocal coach with students on Broadway and around the world), but i learned so much more in the process. i earned my 200 hour certification with Eric Paskel in 2014 and completed a 300 hour certification with Jules Mitchell who wrote the book, “The Biomechanics of Yoga” in 2020, certifying me at the 500 hour level. i have taught yoga in several studios in Michigan, Wisconsin, Ontario, and online, and also contributed modules in yoga teacher trainings for Intentional Yoga in Michigan, Shakti Shack in Wisconsin, and Heart Yoga in California. i also study Feldenkrais and am currently in the process of becoming a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner which influences the way i approaches my practice and teaching. In my classes you will experience familiar postures with dynamic variations, creative transitions to expand and refine your movements, new ways to connect your mind’s eye, and also a playfulness and encouragement to explore.
