lena popa

I discovered yoga at 15, and by 16, I knew I wanted to teach. My first practice was on a high school field trip, and from that moment, I was hooked. My journey began at Moksha Yoga in London and continued when I moved to London, England, where I lived for a few years. Like many, my practice ebbed and flowed, but every time I returned to it, it felt like coming home. In March 2024, I traveled to India to complete my yoga teacher training, followed by a yin certification soon after. Yin holds a special place in my heart—it’s my favorite style to both practice and teach.

Over the years, yoga has become deeply rooted in mindfulness for me, and I see it as a moving meditation. Each posture is an opportunity to return to the present moment, bringing awareness back to the breath and body. My goal as a teacher is to create a calm, supportive space where students can slow down, tune in, and find a deeper connection within.
